As mentioned above, there are a number of music and comedy venues for passengers to enjoy. And the ice skating rink — while offering a chance for passengers to skate — is used primarily for ice shows. Of course, cruise staples like the casino and spa are on the ship and likely larger than you’ve seen on any other ship. Oasis of the Seas also offers a jazz bar, comedy club and even an ice-skating rink.

First Impressions & Ship Highlights
There are currently four Oasis-class ships in Royal Caribbean’s fleet. Oasis of the Seas was the first Oasis-class ship, delivered in 2009 and at the time breaking records for passenger capacity. Allure of the Seas followed in 2010, along with Harmony of the Seas in 2016 and Symphony of the Seas in 2018. The fleet also includes Wonder of the Seas and the upcoming Utopia of the Seas. In the Oasis of the Seas casino, you can find easy ways to test your luck, whether you’re an avid gambler or someone new to (all) the games. Rookies can get a crash course in popular casino games before the casino opens each day, or you can get straight to the action, playing roulette, the slots, dice, blackjack and more.
AquaTheater Suite
Speaking of a movie screen, the TV screen on the pool deck on Wonder of the Seas is the largest in Royal Caribbean's fleet. The private sundeck includes its own plunge pool, bar, and outdoor lounge areas. Harmony of the Seas was the first Royal Caribbean ship to be designed with waterslides in the initial ship build, as well as add new features to Oasis Class ships such as the Ultimate Abyss. Many of the design innovations made on Harmony of the Seas have served as a model for future Oasis Class ships and amplifications. The Lime & Coconut bar was also added to the pool deck, which serves a variety of tropical drinks such as the Watermelon Rita, Blue Hawaiian, and signature Lime & Coconut cocktail.

The suites are where Oasis of the Seas impresses, with upgraded options that are a far cry from the staterooms. Otherwise, interior staterooms are a little on the bland side, with blasé décor that’s suitable and functional, but nothing exciting. Ocean view rooms feature the same décor, but more space and furnishings. Interestingly, while this ship is smaller than later Oasis-class ships, it has more staterooms than those later, bigger ships. Oasis of the Seas does have multiple waterslides. There’s The Ultimate Abyss waterslide, which is the tallest water slide at sea, at 10 stories high. There’s also The Perfect Storm trio of waterslides, including Typhoon, Cyclone and Supercell. There’s The Ultimate Abyss dry slide, 10 stories of fright and fun, as this slide was the tallest slide at sea when it debuted, with twists and turns and thrills galore. On the ship’s top deck, you can find amazing entertainment for those who want to sit by the pool, play in the water, just get some sun or have some high thrills. Whether it’s a date night during your cruise, or you just want to treat yourself, you can do so at one of these specialty restaurants.
Inside you’ll also find the Main Promenade, featuring a bars and shops. There’s also Spotlight Karaoke and Boleros whether you want to sing… or just listen to the professionals do it. The Boardwalk at the back of the ship has the feel of a carnival, complete with a carousel and two 10-story slides winding down from the top deck.
One of the most unique bars on Oasis Class ships is the Rising Tide Bar, which continuously moves up and down from the Royal Promenade on deck 5 to Central Park on deck 8. Oasis Class ships also have Studio B, the ice skating rink onboard. The Solarium bridge wings offer a fantastic view for sailaway or sunset. The Playscape is an underwater-themed playground with climbing walls, slides, nets, interactive murals, games, and nooks and crannies to explore. Originally she was designed for the Chinese market, so Wonder of the Seas has a few design differences compared to other Oasis Class ships. Allure of the Seas has a few significant differences from other Oasis Class ships, as her amplification has been indefinitely postponed due to Covid-19. The FlowRider is a surfing simulator where guests can practice boogie boarding and stand up surfing as water rushes from the front to the back of the FlowRider.
